American School Women
ASW is a women-only English school that not only provides international women with English skills, but facilitates life-giving relationships. It’s a community of students with teachers and volunteers who are passionate about building relationships and empowering them to reach their goals.
Our students are determined! Some want to go back to school or attend college for the first time. Others just want to understand their doctor or child’s teacher. Whatever their goals are, we strive to empower our students with the skills they need to achieve them.
American School Children
For children to feel like they belong takes a strong foundation of love, creativity, caring instruction, and community.
Being a child in a foreign land presents both challenges and advantages. Challenges include learning another language, adapting to different school expectations, and struggling to find a new identity. Our school sees these difficulties but knows that with some help, these challenges can turn into incredible advantages for these kids.
American School Evening
American School Evening is an English school for men and women that not only provides English skills, but facilitates life-giving relationships. It’s a community of students with teachers and volunteers who are passionate about building relationships, connecting internationals to the community, and empowering them to reach their goals.
ASE offers four levels of instruction for internationals from all over the world. Our classes are Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
American School Kids
If you want to see eager learners, come join us at the American School Kids program. Our immigrant grade schoolers are working hard to catch up. Some have missed years of school before arriving here. Others are adjusting to English in the public school system. We’re cheering them on, helping them with their homework, and investing in the future leaders of our society.

English Corner is a fun, free, informal weekly time of tutoring for international students to improve their conversational English skills.
Training
We all need help understanding others’ lifestyles, worldviews, and cultures. We provide a friendly, safe place to learn the tools to be able to identify differences and navigate through cross-cultural interactions, withholding judgment and seeing the beauty in diversity.
Whether you’re an American who wants to understand the cultures of our clients, or you’re a client or you’re new to the country and you want to learn about why America functions the way it does, we want to create the space for exploration and enlightenment.
