More Motivated Students

by | Feb 18, 2019 | Updates

The halls were filled with warm greetings and lots of hugs as women and children gathered to register for “Spring” classes.  As of this writing, 44 ladies are enrolled for the current semester with 31 of their preschool children for our morning program.

Our evening school and kids tutoring program are also off to a healthy start with students eager to learn.  The number of students across the schools who pre-enrolled is more than we’ve ever had! That’s remarkable. Statistically, even university English as a Second Language (ESL) programs struggle to get accurate enrollment numbers before classes begin.

Why the success?  Our students are motivated to improve their lives and build futures for their kids. They are surrounded by supportive volunteers and staff who teach, love, drive, encourage and inspire their new friends.  Some of our volunteers even meet in homes outside of class because they enjoy the richness of cross-cultural friendships.
