Do you ever wonder what our students of other religions say about us?

Very sweet envelope I received in the mail last night. Almost 5 years ago when I was newcomer to the US,hadn’t started school yet nor working I registered for summer classes in American School for Women and Children(ASFWC). Only three weeks were enough to be in love forever with this amazing dedicated group. This wonderful group is helping immigrant ladies to learn English and life skills in an extremely friendly atmosphere. They are using some rooms in a church.

Most (or all) are Christian not surprising that 90%of students are Muslim, free of judgment or discrimination. Always room for new people always open heart to embrace. Not only nice highly educated ladies teach classes but also they care about everyone in need whether a refugee or a stranger. I found my first group of friends going to this school. A group of educated fun loving ladies from different countries.

Last night I received this card just because I go to see them once in a while and share my happiness and fortune with them. What is better than being in somebody’s praying? American School For Women and Children.

You Learned THAT in school??
